Terms of Service

Effective 14 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Duvidha, run by Kunal Rustagi ("Duvidha", "we"), for using duvidha.online. By creating an account, buying a journey or a gift, or using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Duvidha.

1. What Duvidha is

Duvidha is a guided reflection tool. It offers a free Bhagavad Gita reader, "Ask the Gita", and a 5-day journey in which each day applies one Gita verse to the decision you describe, with AI-written explanations, reflection questions and small actions. Duvidha helps you think; it never decides for you, and it is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial advice (see the Disclaimer).

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. Keep your login private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Price and payment

4. Gifts

A gift link unlocks one Full Journey for whoever opens it first and signs up. Treat the link like a voucher: anyone who has it can use it. Gift links don't expire, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be opened by the buyer's own account.

5. Refunds

Refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Your content

What you write (your dilemma, options and reflections) stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Duvidha for you, including sending it to our AI provider to write your explanations and summary. We don't publish it, sell it, or use it to train AI models.

7. AI-written content

Explanations, summaries and verse meanings marked as AI-assisted are generated automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong and may not reflect every interpretation of the Gita. Use your own judgement and, for important decisions, speak to people you trust or a qualified professional.

8. Fair use

Please don't misuse Duvidha: no illegal or abusive content, no attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, no automated access, and no reselling or copying of paid content. We may suspend accounts that do.

9. Ownership

The Sanskrit text of the Gita and Shri Purohit Swami's 1935 English translation are in the public domain. The Duvidha name, design, code, hand-written explanations and other original content belong to Duvidha. You may share verse pages and story cards for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Duvidha available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features. If we ever close the paid journey permanently, we'll give paying users at least 30 days' notice and a way to save their Decision Summary, or a refund for an unfinished journey.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using Duvidha at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close it without cause, we'll refund any unused paid journey.

12. Liability

Duvidha is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for decisions you make or their outcomes, or for indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact our Grievance Officer first; most issues can be solved quickly. Otherwise, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they apply; continuing to use Duvidha after that means you accept them.
